TPC National Webinar 2026

We are thrilled to host this year’s National Webinar on Thursday November 26th at 1pm EST: Managing Without a Title – Practical Leadership for Non-Management Roles

Leadership is not reserved for those with a management title. This practical and engaging session explores how professionals can build influence, earn trust, and demonstrate leadership from any position within an organization. Participants will learn how to take greater ownership, communicate with confidence, and positively influence colleagues and outcomes without relying on formal authority. Drawing on real-world leadership experience in the military and corporate world, Rob Francis will examine the behaviours that allow individuals to step forward, particularly during moments of pressure, uncertainty, and change. Participants will leave with practical strategies for increasing their leadership impact in their everyday work.

Presented by: Rob Francis – President of The Canadian Leadership Company, a veteran-led leadership development organization specializing in practical and experiential approaches to building stronger leaders and teams.

A former Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Canadian Navy, Rob brings more than 20 years of military leadership experience alongside senior executive, academic, consulting, and leadership development experience. His approach focuses on translating leadership principles into practical behaviours that individuals can use in real-world environments, particularly when facing pressure, uncertainty, and complex team dynamics.
